Maggie Kigen came home from work one day and found a baby boy on her door step. Family members had left the baby for her to care for. With this child Maggie felt God leading her to start a nursery for the children in nearby slums. Instantly she had 200 children. Unable to meet those immediate demands she had give up the children but not the dream. She asked the local government to give her land to build a children’s home. They gave her 3.5 acres which would become Eldama Ravine Children’s Home.
Today the orphanage consists of 27 children who live simply by the hand of God on a daily basis. $1.00 a day will help provide clothes, food and school fees for a child. Your gift today can give tomorrow to a child who has no future.
PASTORS PROJECTS, AFRICA & INDIA
In Africa we are partnering with pastors who are rescuing children. We need prayer partners to pray for these pastors and their churches and we need financial partners to come along side to provide support for these pastors as they rescue the orphans in their areas.
In India we are also partnering with pastors who are establishing churches in the slum areas of the cities and we are seeking partners who will pray for them and help with their support.
We are beginning a project that will help these pastors become self supporting. Providing them with a milking buffalo or herd of goats can move them to become self supporting and able to sustain their ministries. $500 will provide 2 milking buffalo and $200 will provide a herd of goats.
