Rescuing Boys in Tanzania

Jackie Smiley's Kids

Jackie Smiley is a retired school teacher from Nevada. Coming face to face with the street children in the city where she was volunteering, God spoke to her about rescuing these children.

Jackie founded a home where runaway boys who were escaping abusive homes, were orphaned by aids or abandoned by their parents, can find love in a caring home.

Jackie operates solely on donations. Typically there are about a dozen boys living with her. Jackie has a local family who live at the home, who act as house parents for these boys. This home provides not only food and shelter, but the house parents make sure the boys get to school and church.

How can you help Jackie maintain her Boy's Home?

You can help by

  1. Praying for Jackie and her boys.
  2. Sponsoring one or two boys.*
  3. Make a donation

* A gift of $25 a month will provide food and personal expenses for one boy.
